Site & Dispenser Supplemental

This is an optional add-on to the COTS Fuel Import (FI) to enable you to track the fuel site and/or dispenser which your fuel came from.

• Allows configuration to track Inventory Items so fuel imports deplete quantity from inventory.

Important Notes

• This option is not recommended for those with drivers using a fuel commercial card to purchase fuel at retail gas stations (credit card such as Shell, Voyager, WEX, Fuel Man, Cardlock, Mansfield Oil, Quarles etc.) because you can easily associate the fuel site with the name of the commercial card. Most customers do not desire to do the setup work to track all the various gas stations or dispensers at those gas stations. Therefore, most customers using the Fuel Import Add-on associate the fuel site with the name of the commercial card so they know how the fuel was purchased. And instead of setting up all the various dispensers at all of the retail gas stations, they chose to populate the “dispenser” field with the product type (unleaded, diesel, etc.).
• Please know that if you opt to NOT use the Site & Dispenser Supplemental, fuel site and dispenser cannot be added at a later date. If you later decide to add site and dispenser, 70% of FASTER’s development work must be redone and 100% of the testing must be redone. Therefore, after FASTER has started work on a COTS Fuel Import where a customer has opt to NOT purchase the Site & Dispenser Supplemental, the cost to then add fuel site and dispenser will be 75% of the original COTS Fuel Import cost plus the cost of the Site & Dispenser Supplemental. There will also be a delay since 75% of the development work and 100% of FASTER’s testing must be redone in order to add fuel site and dispenser.
